Ads and Paid Product Disclosure
frogsdream is free to use. To cover hosting and the time it takes to build new themes, the site earns money in two ways, and we want you to know exactly what they are.
Advertising
When ads are switched on, some pages show ads served by Google AdSense. Google chooses which ads appear and where. We are paid by Google when ads are shown or clicked, and we do not pick, review or endorse the individual advertisers.
Some rules we keep:
- We keep ads out of the generators and leave space between ads and the Generate, Print and Download buttons. Ads never print on your sheets.
- Where we add an ad space ourselves inside an article, it is labeled Advertisement.
- There are no ads on the embedded tools, the bingo caller, the Mega Pack page, the download page, the contact page, the error page or the privacy and terms pages.
- Advertisers have no say in what we write. Word lists, guides and recommendations are never paid for.
In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland, Google asks for your consent before using cookies for ads, and you can change your choice at any time with the Privacy choices link in the footer. The privacy policy explains what data Google collects.
The Mega Pack
We sell one product of our own, the frogsdream Mega Pack, a download of ready-made PDFs. You'll see short mentions of it under some generators and in the site menu. Those are ads for our own product, and nobody else pays for them.
Everything in the pack can also be made for free with the tools on this site. The pack saves time; it doesn't unlock anything you can't otherwise do. The sale is handled through Stripe Managed Payments, with Link, a Stripe company, as the merchant of record.
Affiliate links
Right now there are no affiliate links on frogsdream. If we ever add one, for example to a laminator or a pack of sticker sheets we actually think is useful, the link will be clearly labeled as an affiliate link on the page where it appears, and this page will be updated to say so.
Sponsored content and free products
We don't publish sponsored posts, sell links or accept payment for including a theme or a product. We have not received free products in exchange for coverage. If that ever changes, it will be stated plainly on the page concerned.
