Youth Group Games (Free Printables for Leaders)

Printable games for anyone who leads 10 to 25 kids with no budget and five minutes to prepare: scavenger hunts for halls, camps and nature walks, team score sheets and an icebreaker that gets a new group talking. Everything prints at home and works for a club of any faith or none.

Rather not generate each one? Every theme on this page is in the Mega Pack as finished PDFs, with caller sheets and answer keys, in Letter and A4. See the $7 Mega Pack

Picking a game for the meeting

First meeting of the year. The find-someone-who icebreaker bingo sends kids around the room collecting names. Follow it with the youth group hunt so the same teams work together on something.

Weekly meeting in a hall. The youth group scavenger hunt mixes indoor finds, team tasks and kind acts. Twenty minutes, one sheet per team, a leader by each door.

Camp weekend. The camping hunt covers the campsite by day and the sky after dark, and the nature walk hunt is the trail activity. Both have safety notes written for leaders.

Rained out. The rainy day and indoor hunts keep a group moving without going outside. Use the team layout and shuffle so teams spread out.

Team mode and your own lists

The scavenger hunt generator has a team score sheet layout: type your own items with points after a bar, such as a pine cone | 2, set copies to the number of teams and tick shuffle. Each team gets a different order, so nobody crowds the same corner. Print one extra copy for the leader and tick finds as teams report back.

Lists are a starting point. Delete items your building does not have, add the piano or the mural everyone knows, and shorten the sheet to 15 items for groups that are mostly six to eight years old.

FAQ

Is this content tied to a church?

No. Church grounds are one possible venue, alongside community centers, camps and school halls. Nothing on the lists assumes a faith.

Can a volunteer leader print copies for the whole group?

Yes. The generators are free, and you can print as many sheets as your own group needs.

How do I keep 25 kids safe during a hunt?

Set boundaries out loud, keep leaders by the exits and outdoors, and use teams of four or five that stay together. Each hunt page has a safety section with specifics.
