Bridal Shower Games (Free Printable Set)

Bridal showers bring together friends, cousins and future in-laws who may not know each other. A printed game gives them something to laugh about together, and it keeps the afternoon moving between brunch and gifts.

Games that match the mood

Bridal shower bingo is the classic for gift opening. Guests tick off items such as lace, a toaster or a gift card as the bride unwraps them, and the first person to complete a line shouts bingo.

A bridal word search gives early arrivals a calm start while the mimosas are poured. Words like veil, bouquet and honeymoon keep the theme without being silly.

A word scramble can be a table contest. Pair guests who do not know each other, give them five minutes and see which table unscrambles the most.

Putting it together

Add the bride's name and the date of the wedding to the title so that guests can take the sheet home. The word search maker lets you drop in names, places and inside jokes.

Choose prizes to match the group: a candle, a bottle of something nice, or a small plant. Ask the maid of honor to hand them out so that the bride can stay in her chair.

For a joint shower, or a baby and bridal mix, borrow from the baby shower games page. Same rules, different words.

A note on keeping it friendly

Bridal shower groups often span three generations. Keep the word lists warm and light, and leave out anything the bride's grandmother would not enjoy reading aloud. Every list here can be edited, so trim freely.

Print one spare of each game on cardstock and slip it into the bride's keepsake box with the guest list. It is a small memory of who was in the room.
