How the bingo pages work

Every theme page opens with the generator already filled in. The words are written for that occasion, so the baby shower page talks about bodysuits and rattles, the road trip page about water towers and rest stops, and the ESL pages about the vocabulary beginners meet first.

Each card is shuffled, so no two players share the same layout. The cards are unique for as many players as you choose, up to 30 in one batch. If you have a bigger crowd, generate a second batch.

The caller checklist lists the words in a different order from the cards, so you can tick them off as you read. If you would rather call on screen, the online bingo caller shows each word in large type.

Choosing the right kind of bingo

Word bingo is where most themes sit: 24 or more words fill a five by five card with a free space. It suits parties, classrooms and trips because the words can be anything.

Number bingo has separate pages for 75-ball cards, 90-ball tickets and numbers 1 to 30 for young children. Choose the style that matches your hall or classroom.
